Victoria Koopman
200 E-RYT, 500RYT, ABYSL2
What brought Victoria to yoga was her own health challenge with chronic pain. She is deeply inspired by anatomy, functional movement, and pain science. She believes we all possess an inner wisdom within our bodies and aim to reinvigorate that inner wisdom so that her students can utilize these skills both on and off their mats. Her continual study of body mechanics, yoga's effect on the body, and pain science, have allowed her to assist students to finding pain relief through the use of a variety of movement techniques. She's been teaching and studying since 2019.
She had the honor of studying from many of the great yoga teachers in the Portland, Oregon community, including Annie Adamson, Rachel Lundberg, and Julie Gudmestad. She have studied vinyasa, hatha and yin yoga, and have also dipped her toes in pre and postnatal yoga.
