Over the years actively participating in several sports including basketball, water skiing, snow skiing, tennis and running, the injuries added up to where at one point I had severe issues with neck, lower back (sciatica), shoulders and knees. Was seeing my chiropractor several times a week and she recommended yoga.
About 8 years ago I joined Thrive Yoga and began to practice yoga several times a week minimum. My chiropractor lost me as a client... After my restorative yoga teachers healed me, I fell in love with power vinyasa yoga. The whole meal deal, the healing of mind and body from yoga, and the cardio health from vinyasa, breath and movement.
I just graduated from vinyasa teacher training on May 1st , 2022 at Parallel 45 Yoga in Vancouver, WA. I have been doing free classes for personal friends for about 6 months and love teaching yoga and helping others to achieve better health of mind and body. My dharma – mission in yoga is to help anyone I can, to better their lives through yoga, including men, a rarity in the hundreds of yoga classes that I’ve attended.
My other interests – hanging out with my 4 daughters and family, hiking and jogging, singing and playing guitar and travel.
